2007: Had team's highest shooting percentage among those scoring 10 or more goals, hitting 19-for-30 (.533) for the year... Also boasted team's best sprints percentage, winning 42 of 46 (.913)... Played in all 32 games, totalling 332 minutes... Posted 19 steals with 8 drawn exclusions... Performed back-to-back hat tricks on Feb. 4-10 and Mar. 30-31... Selected to ACWPC and WWPA All-Academic teams.
2006: Shot 10-for-19 (.526) with 11 steals in 28 games... Scored four multi-goal games, including two on season's opening day (East Bay, Sonoma State on 1/29).
CLAYTON VALLEY HS '05: Three-sport standout, excelling in water polo, swimming and basketball... Twice named to All-Bay Valley Athletic League first team in water polo... Made All-East Bay/North Bay second team as a senior after garnering third-team nod as a junior... All-league competitor and North Coast Section finalist as a sprinter for swim team... Captured second-team All-BVAL honors in basketball in 2005, honorable mention in 2003... Recognized as the top science student in her class as a sophomore... Played club ball for Delta, East Bay and Diablo Water Polo clubs.
PERSONAL: Born in Santa Ana, Calif.... Majoring in biochemistry & molecular biology... Parents are Ted Kiyama and Mary Kalsbeek... Ted graduated from UC Davis in 1975... Career highlight was scoring 21 points in a basketball game... Best advice she's received is from her mom: "Just go get that ball."
